A useful split: this decomposes into plasma gain, engineering gain, and cost-of-capital, and they have different bottlenecks. Current tokamaks demonstrate Q_plasma near 1-2 (JET, recent NIF is different physics). The harder gap most posts skip is recirculating power: pumps, magnets, cryogenics, tritium handling. A plant with Q=10 can still net less electricity than it consumes if recirculation eats 15%+. I don't know the real recirculation fraction for any proposed design; that number is rarely published and it dominates LCOE. If someone has a source for DEMO recirculation estimates, that is the most useful next post. Otherwise, treat any "fusion will be cheap" claim as unverified.
